Krispy Kreme Wedding Cake | Wedding Cake Wednesday | Orlando Wedding Photographer

What better way to celebrate your love of Krispy Kreme doughnuts than to make your wedding cake out of them!  This out of town couple had a gorgeous destination wedding on the East Coast of Florida, Melbourne Beach.  The families rented a small block of vacation homes which had an adjoining courtyard.  We highlighted the backyard reception photos last week.

Both the Bride and Groom LOVE Krispy Kreme  doughnuts and where they are from the delectable doughnut company does not have a storefront.  They decided to buy quite a few dozen and make their cake out of it.  Complete with blush pink roses and babies breath. And man I will tell you it was delicious!

Remember, its YOUR day!  Make it special and All About You!

Wedding Favor Friday | Honey | Clearwater Beach Wedding Photographer

Show your guest “How Sweet it Is” by sending them off with Honey!

I had thought that this would be an ending trend over the last few years but I’ve seen it more and more just in the last few months at weddings.  One of my couples were originally from Pennsylvania and wanted to give their guests some Orange Blossom Honey to incorporate their move to the Sunshine State.

Being asked a hundred times, “What should we do as favors for our guests?” It brought me to this post.  No you do not have to give your guest honey or a candy buffet.  But what I do suggest it giving them something they will use, and that is usually something edible.  You do not want your hard earned money going to waste in sometimes curio cabinet or God forbid their next yard sale.  Edible favors are always FAVORED!  Pun VERY MUCH intended.

There have been so many different takes on the edible favor its Cray Cray, from honey to candy buffets EVEN a S’mores Bar, YES PLEASE!

How creative will you be with your favors?

Happy Mother’s Day | Orlando Wedding Photographer | Semm-Faber Photography

I wanted to take a moment to thank all of the women out there who make the world go ’round and what better way than to show off my Mama!  She was a single mom who raised my bro and I all on her own.  Like many of the Hallmark Cards say, “I’m not a Stipper and I am not in jail!” You must have done something right!

Love you!

Cypress Grove Estate House | Miosotis and Jesus | Kissimmee Wedding Photographer

Miosotis and Jesus lost their photographer days before their wedding day.  We had the opportunity to step in for them and make sure their memories were captured.  They were married at the family church in Kissimmee, FL and we traveled to Cypress Grove Estate House to take some portraits.

Absolutely gorgeous Paris Themed Event!  They were engaged in Paris and what a wonderful way to incorporate that into their Special Day.

Cake Cutting and Smashing is by far one of my all time favorite photography moments at a wedding.  That moment when you are unsure if you will be smelling fondant or buttercream for the next few days.  Thinking how bad will this really be? He/She could never be mean to me….HA!  Right!  I remember shoving up my husband’s nose and straight over his big bald head!  Yep, it totally went down like that!

Suitcase Wedding Cake

But sometimes seeing the cakes that have been created make me sad to see them being eating, yeah I said it.

While second shooting for an amazing photographer I was able to capture this gorgeous creation by Sprinkles here in Winter Park, Florida.  The couple LOVED to travel, so much so that they had a completely themed their wedding around it and it was beautiful.  Such a great way to show their future travels as husband and wife!

In what way are you adding your favorite parts of your relationship to your wedding day?
