Ole Miss Professor | Flashback Friday | Maternity Photography

Ole Miss Baby Bump

This week’s Flashback Friday takes us back to March of this year when one of my besties came down from Ole Miss for her baby shower.  To make good use of time we also decided it would be an awesome opportunity to take her maternity photos as well.  We headed over to our local lakefront to snap some beautiful images before Mama felt large enough to pop.

I have known this gorgeous woman for almost 20 years now! Man time sure does fly when you are having fun.  I can say she is definitely my most honest friend, and her RBF is super strong! Love you 🙂  But I, as well as our other friends, would not change her for anything.  She has been the best un-biological sister I have had.  Thank you for inspiring me to push on to my dreams, to have faith even when you feel as though it has gone astray, for telling me when I look like hell (or just the look, I mean that’s really all you had to do, HA!) and for making the last almost 20 years a pretty Rad Ride.  I love you and your family the old and the new, and I CANNOT wait to meet Mr. Man today! Ready or not, Auntie Erika and Auntie Mandy are coming to invade Oxford.

Wedding Cake Wednesday | Jacksonville, Florida | Wedding Photographer

Jacksonville Wedding

I had the opportunity to attend and photograph a wedding in Jacksonville, Florida this past April.  How beautiful, yet simple is this wedding cake? The cake topper was such an elegant touch to this shabby chic affair.  Congrats again you two lovebirds!  Your wedding was a blast.

Wedding Trend Tuesday | Saint Cloud, Florida Wedding | Cobblestone Events & Rentals

Mr and Mrs Frazer edible favors

Today for Wedding Trend Tuesday we are highlighting Tina and Jim’s wedding favors from their Saint Cloud, Florida wedding held at Cobblestone Events and Rentals. I have been asked numerous times “Mandy, what should we give as favors to our guests?” My answer is almost always the same, Something Edible!  Guests love to have something either they can enjoy while at your event or a little taste for on the way home.  Either way your guests will actually use the favor and you will not be wasting your money on something more than likely to be thrown away at a later date.

Tina and Jim decided to send their guests off with a mini box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts and their special blend of coffee beans.  The presentation at Cobblestone Events and Rentals was beautiful and was a great way to show the guests what to expect at the end of the celebration.

The trend of edible favors is not new to the wedding community but is becoming more and more popular over the years.  Where is first began with Jordan almonds and chocolate kisses in a organza bags, it has now moved to elaborately created Candy Bar/Buffets, S’mores Bars, Ice cream bars and of course the beloved doughnut.  Not to mention, your photographer loves them too!  😉

Family Photography Friday | Saint Cloud Photographer | Peake Family

This Family Photography Friday we are throwing back to 2015 Holiday Family sessions with the Peake Family.  Oh how I love this family!  I cannot wait to see them again this year.

Citrus Club Wedding | Christine and Billy | Orlando Wedding Photographer

Lake Eola Wedding

Christine and Billy decided to have their wedding reception at the Citrus Club in Orlando, Florida. They traveled all the way from San Diego to exchange vows with family and friends. We had the opportunity of working with them through a referral from our intern, Patricia.

The wedding was held at the All Souls Catholic Church in Sanford, Florida. Complete with Christmas trees as the backdrop for this gorgeous love affair. After leaving Sanford we traveled to Lake Eola to take some night photos with sparklers. This was probably the most fun I have ever had with a wedding party. Trying to get everyone on the same page so that we could get these awesome shots was so intense.

They danced the night away after slicing into their awesome cake with a sword! WHAT?! It was such an honor to work with these two love birds. We wish them a lifetime of happiness!
